AT THE ONSET HERE, I MUST DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN TEACHING AND TRAINING. TEACHING INVOLVES IMPARTING INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE–EDUCATING. TRAINING INVOLVES DEVELOPING ONE INTO PROFICIENCY FOR PERFORMING A MISSION. FOR THE MOST PART, ONE CAN ONLY BE TAUGHT OR TRAINED ACCORDING TO GOD-GIVEN ABILITIES WITH WHICH ONE IS BORN.

11b …Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN JUST ACQUAINTED WITH ANOTHER?

1. Acquaintances recognize each other–but may not remember each other’s
names at times.
2. Acquaintances speak to each other, and may share superficial things.
3. Acquaintances are almost always polite to each other and show respect one to the other.
4. Acquaintances may at times work on the same projects, do some things together, but not very often –not regularly.
5. Acquaintances don’t usually seek each other out unless for some personal gain or advantage.

TOPIC: IN JESUS OR OUT OF JESUS
SCRIPTURES: JOHN 15:1-7; REVELATION 3:14-16

<Dear Members and Friends:

True forgiveness of a person is important in Christianity. From the prayer Jesus taught his disciples and us, we find:

MATTHEW 6
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

We also find something about how a person may get tired of forgiving the same person over and over from a question Peter asked Jesus as given below:

MATTHEW 18

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
